#1 or the “only one"

Salutations everyone!

So it’s time for another question of the week and this week my question is: Would you rather be #1 or the only one?

First I will go on to explain the difference between the two.

Being #1 means you are the “best of the best”, you are on top and there is no one above you.

Of course this idea can be applied to education, sports, business, etc.

However, being the only one is entirely different.

If you are the “only one” this has the connotation of being special or unique amongst the group.

So for example: although she graduated being #1 or the top of the class, I was the only one who spear headed so many organized groups among the student body.

So who will most likely be remembered?

The one who graduated top of the class (#1) or the student who was the only one to lead so many organized groups in the history of the school?

I leave that answer up to you, would you rather be #1 or the “only one”?

Yssan
