　In my free time, l often go to the movies. This is a good way for me to relieve stress.
I go to the theater 6 to 8 times a month. Generally speaking with this number is higher than average. People often tell me "it's too often."
I think so too but, there are three reasons I don't want to stop.

　First of all, as I already mentioned, I can get rid of my stress by watching movies. While watching movies, my mind can take a break from everyday annoyances. When I have trouble, I tend to think about it too much. I try to forget about it but it's too difficult. In these cases, movies help me. Once the story starts, I concentrate on following it. Although the trouble occupies my mind, I can forget about it while watching movies.
So the stress goes away for a couple of hours. This is very helpful.

　Second of all, is the fact that I can improve my sensitivities. Recently, here in Japan, there have been some crimes by people that have been shockingly inconsiderate. This proves that they have become thoughtless. Which means, their sensitivity is low. We have to strive to improve our sensitivities as much as possible. By doing so the crime rate will decrease... possibly.

　And finally, the third reason I like to go to movies is that it's a good way to improve my English listening skills. At the moment I am a student of English.
I like to study English even in my free time. I can have fun learning English by watching movies.

　To sum up, going to movies is a good free time activity. I can get rid of my stress, improve my sensitivities, and it's a good way to learn English. These are the reasons why I go to so many movies.

　私はしばしば休日には映画に行きます。

私にとってストレス解消になるからです。

月に6回～8回は行きます。

一般的にみてこの数は
多い方だとおもいます。

周りからも『行き過ぎじゃない？』と
いわれることもあります。

確かにそうだと思いますが、
やめられません。

それには3つの理由があります。

　まずはじめに、先に述べたとおり
映画を観ることによって
ストレスを取り除くことができます。

　映画を見ている間は私の頭の中は
他の悩みなどを考えられなくなります。

悩みや考え事があると
私は、考えすぎる傾向にあります。

どんなに忘れようと努力しても
難しいのです。

そんなとき映画は有効です。

物語が始まると
それに集中してみることができます。

その2時間位は
ストレスがどこかへいってくれます。

これこそが支えなのです。

　　そして次に感受性をみがいてくれます。
昨今日本では信じられないような
心ない犯罪が発生しています。

人の気持ちを考えられないことを
表しています。

それは感受性の弱さからです。

私達はなるべく多くの機会を持って
感受性を磨く努力をすべきなのです。

そうすればそんな犯罪も減るでしょう。

　最後になぜ映画が好きかというと
英語の聞き取りのトレーニングになるからです。

私は、英語を学ぶ学生です。

仮に休日であっても
英語を学びたいのです。

映画は楽しみながら
英語を学ぶことができます。

このようなわけで
映画を観ることは休日の良い過ごし方です。

ストレス解消、感受性を磨く、そして英語を学べる。

これらの理由があるから
私は、映画館にたくさん行くのです。
