Good afternoon, everyone. I’m Arthur.

I study English, because I like Americanculture.

Talking ofAmerica, the Mr. president Obama visited Hiroshima, Japan last month, didn’the?

The main topic ofhis speech was living peacefully without nuclear weapons.

It reminds me of Malala the youngest person toreceive the Nobel Peace Prize.

 Her speech was so touching.

She was only a teenager but her ideas are alot like the leaders of countries like Obama.

The leaders canwork on their own initiative.

On the other hand,I can’t do anything as big as what she did.

However, I thinkthat we can do something to bring about peace in our future.

So I want to share you my charity activitiesand my ideas.

Learning English has opened my mind to other ideas and cultures.

I realize there are lots of needy people all over the world.

But I’ve learned there are people in Japan who need help too.

 That’s why I joined a local volunteergroup.

Charity is the act of giving your time, money, or talent to someone inneed.

It doesn’t have to be a noble cause like eliminating world suffering.

Charity can start in your home, school, workplace, or neighborhood.

Supporting people around you spreads happiness, trust, and goodwill.

It builds networks among strangers, and links between generations.

In every sense, charity is like investing in the future.

The more generous you are, the more influence you will have on theworld, and the more others will return the favor.

Even if your kindness is notreturned, you will feel a deep sense of contentment, knowing that you’re makinga real difference.

In my life I want to be a giving person and help people as much as I can.
