This is a letterfirst time I’m writing to you.
I think I will make many mistakes I apologize inadvance.

I’ve never try to send letter for overseas.This letter is both first time to you and first time to overseas.
As you know,Japan has period of national isolation in history, so almost Japanese haven’tsend a letter overseas. Only a few people have it. Such being a case, I amhappy. You gave me a chance. I select this letter paper carefully.

As I told, Japan has a high level of paperitem. It is true.

However I think I raise a hurdle yourexpectations by myself.

Therefore I select along with term 3^rd.
First, it made by traditional Japanese paper “Washi” (和＝Japan 紙＝paper)

This paper is Washi. The feature is suitable for Japaneseink. A Japanese calligrapher always use this paper. You can distinguish Washior not when touch front and back. Front is smooth, Back feel rough. This iseasy way to know.

Second term is feeling a season. We consider about a sence ofseason from olden ancient time.
For example, Japanese old poem must put aseason word.

Third term is feeling a pleasant memorywith you. This paper on a “squirrel” which you taught me.
I couldn’t pronounce “squirrel”.It was tough to remember. Can you imagine how did I remember the word?
I try torecall “What was the word?　

It was probablysimilar as Sherrill….”
The first word is S middle word is WR and last word isL. After this process I can recall the word of “squirrel”.

It is funny, isn’t it?

Talking about squirrel…I remember you andpast days. I regret I should talk with you more. The fact truth of matter I wasafraid of conversation with native English speaker’s speed.　

When I enter our dining room first time, I’ve gotten a shockgreatly.
Stella, Beck, Raymond, and you were talking very high speed that isbeyond my imagination.
I studied English from 12years old to now, so Ijoin Disney internship with plenty of confidence. I lost my confidence in aninstant.
The reason why, I couldn’t understand why you are laughing. I tried tolisten carefully. But I had no idea.

Come to think about it, I gave up jointhem(you). At the time, you were asking to me. “Would you like to eat?” It wasreal pleasure. Happily Chris and Daniel offered to be my English teacher atmidnight.

The lesson style was just listening their silly talk. But sometimethey were talking minutely with easy English. As a result I can understand whatyou and our roommate talking about.

Day by day I could join. I was gettingenjoy my American life. I was finally into the spirit it. Nevertheless Ifailed.
I was really bitterly disappointed what I have done.
Thinking positive,That bitter experience deepen our ties. We were chatting a lot last one week.It was substantial days.
I’m missing you. I will never forget your kindness.
