I had an experience that I ran a relaxation salon when I was in Japan.
I had previously learned how to work in the service industry, however, I would also like to learn more about hospitality business.
This is the reason I joined this program.
I am now living at Vista Way with three Australians.
English is their first language, So I expect my English to improve in the near future.
At first, I felt nervous when I arrived at my new room, because I have never experienced sharing a room.
When I entered the apartment, my housemate showed me into my roomthen she made me a cup of hot tea.
The tea helped me to relax, which I welcomed. I appreciated her warm hospitality.
I unpacked my baggage, and my other housemates came back home.
They gave me a warm welcome and a big smile.
I was very relieved and I understood how important first impressions are.
My role is to be a character performer in the entertainment department.
I work at every theme park, but it is different depending on other cast members.
I play Mickey and Minnie Mouse and they are the most important couple in Walt Disney World.
I feel the responsibilities of playing a leading role. It is not easy to copy the character’s movements.
I trained hard for 4 days before I started work. The costume is heavier than I imagined.
I couldn’t wear the costume for more than 3 minutes at first.
It was difficult to breath, but I trained little by little, and now I am able to wear the costume for about an hour.
I am happy I got this role.
I love Disney and I also love children who have pure hearts.
Once I am in the park, there are many children who hug me and others who continually hug me.
How wonderful is my role. I love my role.
I think I will be playing another character one of these days.
I will do my best to recreate each character’s personality.
However, the most important thing is physical strength and my safety.
I need to take care of myself. I learned how important teamwork is.
The costuming department and the character attendant team support me when I work.
The other characters support me too.
I have learned that reliability and communication help to increase efficiency.
I would like to make as many of our guests happy as is possible and I believe I will continue to take pride in my work.
