My dream for the future is to provide information about wonderful Japanese culture to foreign country. I’ve heard that as a current trend, Japanese don’t have patriotism. Unfortunately it is may be true, but I’m proud of improving Japan, so I don’t know why they think in that manner. Now I will show a Japanese merit.
To begin with, usually we Japanese are not able to express self-assertiveness. Some foreigners have a negative image of Japanese. Nevertheless Japan has a very beautiful culture. The people from other countries are often misunderstanding Japanese. The reason why is because we believe a spirit of cooperation is important. Modesty is regarded as a virtue. Also we think we have to compromise our opinions for human relationships. Consequently, Japanese are very patient. We have to express for “Japanese care about not hurting a person’s feelings” That’s a more natural expression than “Japanese are not able to express self-assertiveness.” Therefore, I considered what I should do to for explain about Japanese culture.
Four years ago, I acquired a license of a standard global manner. I spent two years at manner school in Tokyo. The name of the school was “Ecole de Protocol Monaco” Unless I have standard global manner, I can’t spread knowledge of Japanese culture. And now, I am learning English at the Kanda Institute of Foreign Languages. This is a technical school. I am majoring in international secretary. I already mastered global manners and I also would like to master business manners. I practice entertaining over and over again in our class. I am applying to this Disney internship for several reasons. I would like to get experience using what I learned with this golden opportunity. What did I already said Japanese are patient, so I will never give up once I decide something. It is my belief that hard work pays off in the long run. Disney has the highest quality entertainment. I am going to learn there and in the future tell how beautiful Japanese culture is to my future foreign friends. I think going learning abroad will add new dimensions to my perspective.
In conclusion, I would like to make the most of what I learned before and what I’m learning now. I will share Japanese good points and culture. If I don’t apply for this opportunity, I’ll regret it. If I’m able to take this opportunity, I can have tremendous progress. Let me experience to go learn abroad. I really want to learn global hospitality!!
