Lately I've been doing a lot of reflection on the
importance of friends.

In this day and age, you have "friends" by the hundreds.
Kind of making the childhood song lyric 友達百人できるかな?
into real life.

I have over 500 friends on facebook, and there are some people
that I know who are connected to people in the thousands.

For my birthday, I got wishes from probably over 100 people...
in all different mediums and forms.

In real life though, had it not been for FB etc, it would be
people whom I've lost touch with, and would be lucky if
I remained friends with 50+ of them.

I have about a dozen or so close friends
Of which, there are 5 I would do anything for.

I'm lucky to have those people in my life.
I'm overwhelmed and appreciative of all of the concern
and support that my friends have offered me.

I can't express how much I feel loved by everyone.

I'm fortunate to say that my parents are fine for now.

Please continue to pray and send good thoughts to
those who have been affected by the earthquake.
In this age of Social Media, it's hard to know who you
can trust.

I msged someone that sent me a friend request even though
I didn't recognize him.

Normally I would simply ignore those.

It was probably because of the mutual friends that showed up
and because of the fact that he went to my HS.

Being from a smaller town, and a nice one at that,
that lends to some credibility.

Ultimately I'm glad I went out on a limb, and met up with him.
I feel like I'm back in HS all over again, haha.
