i DO love this picture book "Where the wild things are",
but i also come to like the film as well.
This 2 hours film is full of moral lesson.
Max and Carol get a temper several times.
→it describes the anger, how people look and behave when they are in anger.
Max was mad at his mother but in the latter part of the story, he yellled at Carol the same words
as his mom yelled at him.
→it tells us that we'll never know someones's feelings until you are in his or her shose.
Ira doubts and envies Carol that he might be the king's favorite.
→Where the hierarchy is, there always comes along the doubts towards the others.
All the wild things but Carol knew that Max is not a king. but they pretended as they believe Max is a king.
→sometimes to pretend not knowing motive you, even if you know the reality
Carol messed up everything because of the fear to believe others.
→If you don't believe others, you'll never be truely happy.
Max realised that mom's place is where he should be.
→family is the very best place where everyone feel at home and safe.
i love the music of thie film* Karen O did the great job!
