Welcome to a laptop battery specialist of the Hp laptop battery
The computer accessories distributor’s new “For My Green World” line includes 8- and 10-outlet surge protectors, a battery-free wireless mouse and mouse pad, a low-power mouse, and a low-power keyboard/mouse combo.
With most consumers unaware that 75% of their computer’s electrical consumption occurs while the system is off, Micro Innovations’ new ‘smart’ surge protectors are specifically designed to trim that waste. “In fact, the phantom draw of electricity occurs in virtually all home electronics, not just computers-everything from DVD players to TVs, stereos and other appliances,” noted Micro Innovations president Jesse Grindeland, an engineer by training. “The only way really to cut power is to unplug the appliance. But who will remember or have the time to do that?”
To respond to this issue, the device remains in ‘off’ mode until power is required, at which time the surge protector senses a need and then turns on. “This product is valuable on several levels,” Grindeland continued. “Energy savings to the consumer and impact on the environment are substantial. There is also the potential for large-scale energy savings to businesses and government offices.”

-free mouse receives enough electromagnetic energy from the mouse pad to power the mouse, while the power requirements for the low-power mouse and low-power keyboard/mouse combo are such that batteries last six times longer than batteries in standard equipment.
In the packaging arena, Micro Innovations earth-friendly initiative has initially been rolled out to the company’s entire line of accessories for laptops–which are themselves more energy efficient than desktop computers. “We felt responsible to the environment and its citizens-consumers and retailers alike-and thought it was important for us to take the lead,” Grindeland stated.
Under the initiative, Micro Innovations downsized its laptop accessories packaging by anywhere from 55% to 70%. Plastic was switched from PVC to environmentally friendly APET plastic. Clamshells, prolific in the electronics industry, were reduced in size and replaced by paper which is 50% post-consumer recycled material.
Finally, all inks and adhesives utilized in the packaging are RoHS certified, water-based and non- toxic.
Micro Innovations worked with innovative packaging designers, printers, and manufacturers to deliver this eco friendly packaging. All packaging components are tested and certified by independent testing labs at critical stages in the production process.
The company announced the new environmentally friendly product line at the Consumer Electronics Show in January. Product will be available to retailers in spring 2008.
