hi, i am a female japanese american (J.A.) living in los angeles (L.A.)... i guess my profile isn't all that creative.
i've read many a blogs, but never really written one of my own.
a little about me... my family moved to the US when i was a yound child. i've lived up north in the Bay Area for most of my life.
i moved to japan to work in my late 20's to become an eikawa teacher...
so, i can speak both japanese and english...i can read and write in japanese...but prefer english. it's just an easier language... only the alphabet... of course hiragana and katakana is pretty easy, but kanji... i hated learning it and can basically read, if you asked me to write it, it would definitely have to be on the computer.
but then again, many of my japanese friends say the same thing. in this day in age, with computers and cell phones, not too many of the younger generation in japan can right kanji. is this true?
