This blog's title is "yama no anata", do you know that? =＾-＾=
"yama no anata" is, needless to say, very very famous poem written by Karl Busse and translated by Bin Ueda.
山のあなたの空遠く
「幸 (さいはひ) 」 住むと人のいふ
噫 (ああ) 、われひとと尋 (と) めゆきて、
涙さしぐみ、かへりきぬ
山のあなたになほ遠く
「幸」 住むと人のいふ
Over the mountains,
far to travel, people say,
Happiness dwells.
Alas, and I went,
in the crowd of the others,
and returned with a tear-stained face.
Over the mountains,

Someone who had heard that happiness was living in a distant location over the mountains went to look for happiness.
But, happiness wasn't there.
After that, the man heard again that happiness was in a more distant location over further mountains.
How do you feel about this poem?
Do you think that happiness is somewhere certainly?
Or happiness get away from you as you search for it?
If happiness is somewhere, where is it?
I don't know what the author wanted to say.
But I'd say its seed is in your heart.
And you have to grow it.
So, if you couldn't find happiness in the place where you live now, you wouldn't be able to find it wherever you would go.
(Surely, changing your environment sometimes helps you grow up, but that's not what I want to say.)
The problem isn't place but just yourself.
It's a corny, but important word of warning to me.
So, this blog's title is "yama no anata". =＾-＾=
日本語の「幸 （さいわい）」 は、『花が咲き溢れている状態が続くこと』 という意味から出来た言葉だと読んだことがあります。
つまり 『心の中に花がたくさん咲き溢れているように感じること』 が 『幸せ』 だというんですね。
幸せで微笑む時、花のようなその笑みを 『花笑み（はなえみ）』 と言ったり、花が咲くことも 『花笑み』 と言ったりするそうです。
小さな幸せを感じて微笑むことが出来る人は、その花が新しい種をつけてもっと多くの花を咲かせることができるということでしょうか。
Bette Midler も 【Rose】 の中で “I say love, it is a flower, and you, its only seed” と歌っているし、こういう感覚は洋の東西を問わず同じなのかも。
幸せが心の中にあるなら、詩の中で 『山のあなたの空遠く』 と書いてるのはどういう意味でしょう？
私の勝手な解釈では 【時間の流れ】 を表してるのかな・・・と。
この詩の中の人物にとって、同じ目的を持つ人達と出会えたことこそが、この旅で得た幸せだったと思うのです。
ところがそれに気付かず泣いて帰ってきたのを見て、 『おまえが本当に幸せになるのはまだまだ先のことだな』 と言ったのではないかと・・・・・。

上を求めればキリがなく、人はどこまでいっても飽くことのない存在で、だからこそ努力し続けるわけですが、たまには考え方を少し変えてみて、幸せを感じる力も養わないとね。 =＾-＾=
