Once again, krystalcube was able to pursue music endeavors thanks to your continued support.
I am ever more grateful. This year was full of "firsts."
【Performances】 Excluding private gigs, krystalcube performed 43 gigs this year.
In January, I sang with a big band for the first time, and in February, I did my first birthday gig.
I was fortunate to be surrounded by people I love with great music, bringing me so much joy. Thank you!
For my birthday gig in Feb., Kei Ishida, owner of Akasaka Kei, was so thoughtful to arrange a fantastic trio: Michiko Tatsuno (piano), Kazuhi Ohsumi (bass), and Manabu Tsuzuki (drums). Naomi Miyakawa (piano/guitar) played originals with me.
It was a pleasant surprise when Makoto Kuriya managed to drop by my gig this evening.
This year, krystalcube performed as a trio with Shintaro Nakamura (bass) and Yogo Shindo (piano) for the first time, ended up doing three gigs. We performed jazz, pop, originals, and more. The trio also performed a vibrant Christmas party live show on Christmas Day for the first time!
Thank you to all the fabulous musicians I was able to perform with. I'm posting those with good photos still retained in my library. Higashi Toya (piano), Sachiko Matsudaira (vocal), Hiroshi Shiotsuka (guitar), Toshihiko Urakami (bass), Jun Saito (drums). We had a lot of fun together.

Everyone was so energetic and I was the most nervous but really enjoyed the music they played.

Needless to say, krystalcube continues to sing with solo guitar.
Looking back this year, it appears I spent more time singing than creating, while pursuing jazz and studying bossa nova. As usual, krystalcube also wrote and produced original songs which were mostly performed on solo days.
【Going to Performances】I wasn't able to go as much compared to last year.
