Today at around noon, Twitter user SantaDecides has decided to prank the whole internet by cancelling themselves, which led to their followers tweeting: "You have no idea what SantaDecides just tweeted!", "Have you guys seen what SantaDecides tweeted?" and anything like that, as well as using the #SantaDecidesIsOverParty and #SantaIsOverParty hashtags, which became trends on Twitter. SantaDecides has also privatized their Twitter account.

Before these hashtags became trending on Twitter, people were confused about why SantaDecides is getting cancelled, as some of them believed that it was because of a naughty/nice list tweet. They also believed that it was because of a controversy. The same thing happened to me and my followers.

This might be the reason why the trend was followed by a caption that says "Content creator Santa Decides attempts to prank the internet by cancelling themself for no reason".

I am writing this because I helped SantaDecides prank the internet by tweeting "Guys! You won't believe what SantaDecides just tweeted!" and believed that I confused my followers. I had to do this because I follow SantaDecides on Twitter and have my notifications on.

I apologize for the confusion that this has caused to my followers and to other people on Twitter.
