Every since I was a little kid, I’ve loved Big Band music! I started on clarinet at age 9, and when I added saxophone at age 13, my first sax was the baritone. Soon after, I began to play in local big bands, playing all the classics from the great American Big Bands, which to this day is still my favorite music to play. Little did I know that years later I would get to tour with the World Famous Glenn Miller Orchestra and Gordon Goodwin’s Big Phat Band. I just love playing in a full saxophone section and feel most at home playing bari in a big band.
