東大トリップのあと
BACH幅さんに会ったあと、せっかく東大まで行ったから絶対においしいものを食べて帰ろうと思って、色々な人に聞いたところ、超おいしいハンバーガー屋さんがあるということだったので行きました。

おいしー！っていいながら食べててふと窓の外を見たら衝撃的なサインを見た。
While we were eating, I looked out the window and saw a shocking sign.
What the hell is a 「男女平等センター」 (Gender Equality Center)?!
こんなネーミングのなにかがオフィシャルに出てるのがありえない。。。ショックだった。
I can't believe this is an official name for whatever the place is...

BACH 幅さんに会ってきた
先日、BACH幅さんをゲストに迎えた Educe Cafe にM+Kで出席しました。
場所は東大！！まず、本郷という下町に感動した。
We went to an event at Tokyo univ. the other day for "Educe Cafe", an event done by a NPO group. The guest of the day was Book Director Mr.Haba of BACH.
Tokyo Univ is in the upper east part of Tokyo, which still has that traditional look of the old city of Tokyo.
東大の福武ホールは安藤忠雄デザインの建物。こんな建物
The event was held at Fukutake Hall, a building within Tokyo Univ done by the architect, Tadao Ando. This modern building was in line with the traditional buildings on the same campus, and that was pretty cool from a gaijin's eyes.

相変わらずコンクリート打ちっぱでした。
講演会では幅さんの色々なお話しが聞けてすごく面白かった。
幅さんのお仕事は「人と本をもう一度出会わせる」こと。幅さんのマジックにかかることによって本というものが普段とは全く違う風に見えて、人々の体験自体を変えてしまうのがすごいなと思った。
Mr.Haba's talk was very interesting. His job is to "reunite books and people". Books are turned into something new and different after going through him, and that changes people's everyday experience.
ケータリングも今回のテーマ、「本」にあっていてかわいかった！
The catering was based on the theme of books too and that was really kawaii!!
