コーチングセッションがあった。
クライアントさんは私がプロのコーチになる前から
私のコーチングを受けて来てくれた方だった。
つまりモニターとして
私のコーチ修行に付き合ってくれた人
長い間
色んな事を、話をしてきた人だ
今日、セッションが終わって帰る時に、
しみじみと
「いやぁ本当にコーチングっていいですよね」
って言ってくれた
私も「本当ですよねぇ」
って、コーチとしてって言うか。。
まるでチームの一員のような思いで
返事をした。
そこで改めて気が付く
コーチとクライアントの関係って
本当に対等なんだよなぁって。
それって当り前の事
でも忘れないようにしないとならない事だ。
コーチングでクライアントさんがコーチの助言に頼ってばかり
って言うのはコーチングではない。
コーチングの中では上下の関係は無い
モチロン
コーチが偉いとか、クライアントが偉いとか
あるわけない
常に対等に
真剣に
お互いが向き合う
そして
クライアントの中に有る物を棚卸していく
答えはクライアントの中に有るのだから
それが私の好きなコーチングの良い所だな
そして私は思う
そんな対等な相互的関係が広がって行ったら
（コーチングが広がっていったら）
世の中楽しくなるなぁって
のびのびと意見を言い合える関係が広がること
想像すると嬉しくなる
世の中がカラフルになって行くイメージが出来る
だって
誰か（偉い人）
一人のカラーだけじゃ
物足りないじゃん
色んな人のカラーが混ざっていけば
面白い
コーチングは人が持っている素敵な色を
引き出させる役割を担えると
私は信じている
まるで花を咲かせるような感じかな

I had a coaching session with a hair salon owner. He has been my client since before I became a professional coach. He was my monitor client, so we have shared a lot of feelings for ages. Today, at the end of the session, he said, “Coaching is really good.” I agreed with him not as a coach, but as a kind of a member in the same group. At that time, I realized the relationship between a coach and a client is completely mutual. It is fundamental, but sometimes some coaches tend to forget about this and start teaching their clients, which leads the client to depend on the coach as a mentor. There are no up-and-down relationships in coaching, also there is no great person there either. These are points I love. A coach is a person who believes each client has answers that they are looking for, so we ask them some questions to help them find their own way. I believe in that way our society can be colourful. Only one person’s color is not good enough! I think coaching can help to loosen the cap of the tube of your own colour. Just imagine mutual relationships are here and there, in which we can share a lot of ideas. Isn’t it wonderful? It sounds like a lot of flowers blooming. I hope my blog can give someone who is unfamiliar with coaching the chance to know what it is.
