BANK ACCOUNT
The first thing I had to do was open my own bank account in Japan.
I couldn't do any thing without this. rent a apartment, cell phone, make credit card etc ...
They all ask for bank account in Japan. I understand this system. I guess most of country do the same. So I went to the bank.
I asked the lady that I want open my account and she gave me a paper to fill.
I filled all of the information and gave that to her with my passport.
Then I had to wait almost 2hours........... I could here the lady and a guy talking about me...
"Why he doesn't have proof of residence?" "Is he really Japanese?""How about other ID?"etc..
I just came back here and I need my bank account to rent an apartment. My proof of residence is saying "KAIGAI" until I rent my place.... And I am not foreigner so I dont have any VISA...
Then they were talking in the back room again....
At last... The branch manager came up to me and said..
"This is special treatment for you at this time. I trust your information and we open your account."
It took almost 3hours to open my account......
I guess it was easier to came back as a foreigner....
I didn't feel home and really wanted go back to the States...
