It's been about not only releasing quality music, but about releasing music that was coming out of Detroit and music that was inspired by Detroit that was one thing: different. Motech started off as a blue collar operation. A way for DJ 3000 to release his own music and the music of friends, artists and collaborations that he respected from around Detroit.
