========================================
This story dates back to 1980, when I was four and begins in 2020, when I turned forty-four. As I embarked upon this exploration, I was on a quest for healing and ultimately, forgiveness. What I didn’t realize at the time, was that the hardest person to forgive would be myself (my life has been somewhat scandalous at times), and that in finally doing so, my life’s purpose would be revealed.This book broaches some heavy topics, ranging from child molestation, suicide, drug and alcohol addiction and divorce, to name a few. However, it also touches on the beauty of humanity, the power of love and finding humor wherever possible. In it, I briefly examine my twenty seven years working in retail and in doing so, I tell the stories of people I met along the way who continue to have a lasting impact on my life. In addition, my memoir also delves into the importance of mental health and the crucial role two therapists have played throughout my life.The ultimate intention for writing
