フランスの国鳥である雄鶏をロゴアイコンに掲げる仏生まれの
スポーツメーカー、"le coq sportif"。

ここ日本ではサッカーユニフォームなどを初めとするスポーツアパレルでお馴染みだが、
実は同社スニーカーラインナップは、80年代後半～90年代にかけてのスニーカーブームの際、
名立たるビッグブランドに対抗するフレンチキックスの雄として欧米シーンを席巻した。

そして現在、世界中で巻き起こっているスニーカーブームの再燃をきっかけに、
遂に日本でもブレイクを果たしている。

そんなle coq sportifと、世界のスニーカーシーンのエッジームーブメントをタイムレスに
展開するスニーカーセレクトショップ"KICKS LAB."のコラボレーションが実現。

フレンチミリタリーをアッパーデザインのモチーフに、左右のタンに配した両社ロゴや、
KICKS LAB.の新アイコンをあしらったインソールなど、幾つかの共通の特別仕様を
携えたスペシャルモデル2型をリリースする。

Prestigious French sportswear brand known for their infamous rooster logo, a national symbol of France, teams up with Tokyo’s leading sneaker boutique to produce a very special capsule sneaker collection.
While the brand’s soccer jerseys and sportswear have continued to hold a solid presence in Japan, it was during the late 80’s through the 90’s that the brand experienced its first quiet uproar in the sneaker community with their French twist on kicks. With the resurgence of sneaker culture worldwide, footwear is making a definite imprint in Japan.
The 2 models feature French military inspired design, with co-branded logos on the tongue and a special KICKS LAB. mark on the insole.
