ASICS Tiger GEL-LYTE III “KL-SHINOBI”
日本のストリートファッションのメッカである原宿に二つの店舗を構え、 日本のスニーカー文化を原宿から
世界へ発信するプレミアム・スニーカーブティック ＜KICKS LAB.＞と、60年以上の歴史を持つ日本が
世界に誇るスニーカーブランド ＜ASICS Tiger＞とのコラボレーションによって誕生した
スペシャルモデル ＜ASICS Tiger GEL-LYTE III “KLSHINOBI”＞。
“KLSHINOBI”というモデル名の通り、“忍”（しのび）をテーマに
「もし忍者がスニーカーを履いていたら？」という
裏ストーリーのもと、 デザインコンセプトを展開。
スウェードをベースにしながら、 一部で大きめのメッシュを使用するなど様々な素材を組み合わせ、
カラーリングはブラック、グレー、ホワイトといったモノトーンでコーディネイトし 、
落ち着いた中にもシャープな印象を与えるデザインに仕上がっています。
また、インソールとアウトソールには“忍”（しのび）というテーマにちなんだ 熟語をプリント。
これらの熟語には＜KICKS LAB.＞が発案した造語も 多数含まれていて、暗号を使っていたとも言われる
忍者の独特なカルチャーを連想させる内容にもなっています。
まさに＜ASICS＞と＜KICKS LAB.＞という日本のスニーカーシーンを
代表する両者のこだわりが詰まったスペシャルモデルです。

“KICK LAB.”, 2 shops are located in Harajuku Tokyo, the center of Japanese street fashion,
who keeps developing the Japanese sneaker culture to the world.
“AISCS”, a world famous athletic brand which has more than 60 years of history.
These two get together and are going to release a special model, ASICS Tiger GEL-LYTE III “KLSHINOBI”.
“GEL-LYTE” series were originally born in 1987 as high performancerunning sneakers.
These days they are becoming more and more popular among sneaker lovers.
KICKS LAB. and ASICS tiger have been developed collaboration sneakers these days and they quickly
sold out for their excellent color blocking and the design.
For example they launched ASICS Tiger GEL-LYTE V “PHYS ED” collaborated with Singaporean sneaker
customizer “SBTG” in 2015 and they launched ASICS Tiger GEL-LYTE III “HIKESHI” collaborated
with “sneakerwolf “ in 2016.
The design concept for ASICS Tiger GEL-LYTE III “KLSHINOBI” is Shinobi which is a p caraphrase for “NINJA”.
KICKS LAB. developed a story “what if a Ninja wears a pair of sneaker”.
Using many kind of materials such as premium suede on the most part of the upper and large-meshed net.
This pair features monotone color blocking such as Black, grey and white which is matured yet crispy.
On the insoles and the outsoles Japanese idioms related to Ninja are printed.
Some of them are developed by KICKS LAB. which reminds us of the unique Ninja culture using
secret codes in their daily life. This is surely a very special model of having ASICS and KICKS LAB.’s full of passion.

アフリカ大陸北部一帯を占めるサハラ砂漠。 遥か水平線の果てまで砂と岩山が続く、
地球上で最も広く最も乾燥した砂漠です。
ルコックスポルティフはこの圧倒的な景観を作り上げた大いなる自然の力に敬意を評し、
サハラ砂漠をインスパイアした〈DRY WEATHER Pack〉をリリース。
80年代後期にリリースされたオールラウンドロードモデル＜OMEGA＞の
レトロなルックスを生かしながら、現代に求められる軽量性とフィット感を
実現したランニングモデル＜OMEGA X＞をベースに、砂漠の大地のような
ベージュ系と、灼熱の太陽を思わせるホワイト系の2カラーをラインナップ。
ベース素材としてヌードカラーとマシュマロのレザーを使用し、 ヒールカウンターや
ガード部分にも同色のスウェード素材を使うことで 統一感を出し、
上品かつクリーンな印象に仕上がっています。
特徴的なのは、アッパー全面に使用したクラックレザー。
風合いのあるひび割れ模様で高温乾燥気候特有のひび割れた地面を表現。
また、スウェード素材のヒールカウンターには力強い太陽のマークのプリント。
ミッドソールには砂色のランダムドットを散りばめ、照りつける太陽によって
きらめく砂を彷彿させるスペックル仕様となっています。
