A happy new year!!
And we also had "Osechi" on January 1st , traditional New Year's dish!! Each dish has meanings to celebrate New Year, to wish for good health and prosperity for the family for the year
This is Peco from Tokyo

Let me tell you how I'm spending New year holidays!!

For Japanese people, new year season is the most significant!!
After Christmas, we change the decorations to new year's one quickly.

and do "Oo-souji", means cleaning up the whole house!!
It should be done by the new year's day

And most of people visit to parents, spend new year's eve and new year's day with their own family.
So I did too, like every year

And we also had "Osechi" on January 1st , traditional New Year's dish!! Each dish has meanings to celebrate New Year, to wish for good health and prosperity for the family for the year

It's usually a compartment box of assorted mini dishes though(in my parents' house, they don't use a box).

I think 2019 is going to be much more fun and free
