USでYB名義になる前にYoung Blood名義でUKからリリースされていたプロモオンリー12。
YB名義でのLPや12は見ますが、こちらは全くみません。

R&BではおなじみのSoulshock & Cutfather a.k.a. SoulpowerのレーベルSoulpower Productionsから出ています。
もちろんプロデュースもSoulshock & Cutfather。

Gotta Be PerfectはSoulpowerらしいニュージャック的な歌ラップですが、お気に入りは裏面のDynamite Soul。
Ann PeeblesのSomebody's On Your Caseをまんま使いし、さらにはJBの声ネタを使ったファンキーチューンでふ♪

YBのLPにも上記2曲は収録されていますが、このLPにはJazzやFunk等をネタに使った良曲がたくさんあるので機会があれば今度紹介したいと思います！
