私は金沢市で2年間タクシー運転手をしています。電話予約の同じお客様を何度かお乗せすることは多々ありますが、これは普通のことです。が、街中で手を挙げた同じお客様を2度以上お乗せすることはほぼ奇跡です。2度ありました。1度目は、ハワイのご夫婦と14才くらいの息子さんです。その2日後の2度目にお乗せした時、初めに気づいたのはその息子さんでした。2度目は、日本人の男性です。翌日、2度目にお乗せした時、2人同時気づきました。その翌々日、3度目にお乗せした時は、女性の方がご一緒だったのでお声掛けしませんでしたが、間違いなく彼でした。
I’ve worked as a taxi driver in Kanazawa city for two years. There are several things that more than twice or more a taxi driver take the same customer or a group, who or which was booked by telephone, in his/her taxi, but this is a normal thing. Meanwhile it is almost a miracle thing that more than twice or more a taxi driver take the same customer or a group, who or which walked downtown and raised his/her hand and got on, in his/her taxi. I’ve experienced like that miracle thing at least twice.
The first time was that I took a Hawaiian couple and their about 14-year-old son in my taxi, and then again I coincidentally took the same family in my taxi 2 days after the day I drove them in my taxi first, It was the son who noticed first. The place they caught my taxi first and another place I drove them in my taxi were wholly different and far.
The second time was that a Japanese man caught my taxi first in front of the hotel he stayed. Two days later I took him first I coincidentally took him again in front of the same hotel. He and I, two people, noticed at the same time. The next day he caught my taxi again on the road of a famous tourist destination in Kanazawa City. I did not talk to him about the coincidence because he had a woman, but I thought that he was definitely the same man.
