Kimutaku makes surprise appearance

   Actor and singer Takuya Kimura made a surprise appearance at the Seibu Shinjuku PePe Square on January 8, when his first solo album "Go with the Flow" was released.
   About 2,000 people gathered at the square to see his original footage that came up on the Shinjuku Yunika Vision on the other side of the street. At the end of the footage, Kimura on the screen said, "Hey, turn around!" Then, the real Kimura appeared on the balcony of the PePe building, which made the spectators cheer loudly.
   The album includes songs written by Noriyuki Makihara, Koshi Inaba, and Naotaro Moriyama.
 

Marines' Sasaki moves into dormitory

   Rookie pitcher Rouki Sasaki, selected by the Chiba Lotte Marines as the No. 1 draft pick last year, moved into the club's dormitory in Saitama on January 8. He said, "I feel a little uneasy because this is my first dormitory life, but this environment allows me to enjoy playing baseball to my heart's content."

Junichi goes independent
