Holes was the first book that I read in English in 2015, and HOLY COW I absolutely LOVED it. The reason which it took me some days to read through was that it was too enjoyable and exciting to read and I wanted to read it very slowly.
Louis Sachar has written such an engrossing and brilliant novel. I found it surprisingly easy to become absorbed quickly. The writing style is quite concise but not boring, and the story is very unique, which seized my heart and never let it go. I would highly recommend it to everyone. I love everything about this book and want to read it again and again and again.
