Join me for an introduction to Japanese home-style cooking and Okinawa cuisine.
だしの取り方から四季折々の簡単な和食や沖縄料理を日本文化の紹介を 交えながら英語で紹介します。

In this English speaking class designed for international visitors, participants will increase their knowledge of Japanese culture, while learning how to cook Japanese/Okinawa dishes with seasonal ingredients, including dashi (Japanese soup stock).

レッスンの内容
- 人気のある和食や沖縄料理を英語で教えます。
- 季節・季節の行事に合わせた料理とその文化的背景を紹介します。
- 日本の調味料や材料、調理器具を使い、レッスンは少人数制で行います。
- 初心者でも安心して作れるよう デモンストレーションを交えながら指導します。
- 和食を通して日本文化を理解しましょう。
Class details include:
- Popular recipes of Japanese and/or Okinawan foods will be taught in English.
- Recipes will be associated with traditional cultural practices and events and use seasonal ingredients.
- Private and small group classes will be held using Japanese spices and utensils.
- Full demonstrations and explanations provided, so no experience necessary. Beginners are welcome!
