親鸞の生涯を知りたいと思ったのです。

私はその作家の自伝を読み、

I read the writer's autobiography,

早稲田大学時代に苦学したことを知っています。

It knows the study under adversity in the Waseda University age.

その本を帰って読むか、喫茶店で少し読もうかと思いながら歩いて行きました。

I walked while thinking the return in the book, reading or a little reading in the coffee shop.

途中、くじ引きの鐘の音に足を止め、

On the way, the foot is stopped to the sound of the bell of lot,

私は本のレシートでナンバーくじに交換しました。
