K. Shimabukuro
If we accept the present situation we‘ll be happier
Today’s material insists that the power of acceptance is great. Let’s discuss how great that power is.
1. If you were a 20-year-old man, living in Japan in 1940 what would you have done? Would you have fought against the militarism or have accepted the situation?
2. I don’t know the situation just after the WW2, but in 1950th, Japan was poor but people didn’t look like miserable for me. Isn’t this the power of acceptance or something other effect?
3. If you were told that you had only a year to live what would you do? Can “the power of acceptance” help you?
4. If you were bone in poor country or war devastated country- like Syria- what would you do? Can you accept the situation?
5. Can this power help for natural-born disabled person?
6. From time to time we hear stars’ extramarital affairs, and when their spouses are tolerance most of the time it doesn’t be a big problem. Is this “the power of acceptance”?
