Finally I have some time to spare...
as much as I like ameba, I can't get used to this new look.
Each time I "brace myself" to write something, I don;t know what should
I click, eh...
Today I finally decided to finish what I started.
I want to write about my trip to Łódź, which was... ehehe almost 2 weeks
ago...
I had to go to my university to talk to my diploma work promoter, and run some
other errands.
I was hoping it would be a fun break from work, but it turned out to be
a waste of time and money...
It didn't even start well as I overslept
and almost didn't go, but I knew that if I don't go this time I won;t go at all.
I wans't even packed... but managed to get myself and my backpack ready
in only 15 minutes!

This is a picture from Piotrkowska street - the most popular street in Łódź, there are plenty
of old apartment houses, and pubs, restaurants.
There's my fav sushi restaurant too, but this time I didn't have time to go there
I stayed in a hostel, but it was terrible. There was a disco nearby so I couldn't sleep at night
because of the noise...
Besides I slept in an 8-person room (it was cheaper), but I had a terrible roommate,
who went out somewhere and came back around 3am totally drunk...
Heh, he was quiet, but... the smell was...
I came to Łódź on Friday, but because it was late, all I could do was shopping
I went to Manufaktura shopping centre, where I had late dinner and then visited some
shops.
On Saturday I went to my university only to learn that the guy I wanted to see is absent...
I thought I'd cry cuz it meant a wasted day. I could've come on Saturday instead of Friday...
eh...
So again I went shopping, this time to Galeria Łódzka.
And when I entered I saw this
giant dragon hanging in the air!
I was like... holly Lord of the Rings!
It was great! In the hallways there were giant figures of dragons! It was some kind
of a special event, and I must say it was totally cool!
This time I bought some dresses and skirts and other clothes... quite a lot of them
so my bank account has lost at least one 0...
Finally on Sunday I did what I had to do, but because it took me some time there was
no bus to go home... I booked some last minute bus to another town. It cost almost twice
as normal bus ticket... nevermind.
Good thing was that the driver took me to Sndomierz where my friend waited for me.
(otherwise I'd have to go to Rzeszów and then wait there 2 hours for a bus to my
town...).
I was really angry when I got home. Mostly because I've spend too much money on the
bus and hostel, and because I've wasted 2 days... heh.
cuz it meant a wasted day. I could've come on Saturday instead of Friday...
