Another autumn day has passed.
It was cold but I felt really nice during my walk.
It's >Teachers' Day< tomorrow but my pupils surprised me today
and brought me a present
I didn't expect they'd say "happy teacher's day" or anything let give me something
That's why I'm really happy, it was a nice surprise
THANK YOU
After 7pm I went to pick up my books.
I've ordered three new ones,
1st on the left > Ani Słowa Prawdy< (Not a grain of truth) is by Polish writer Jacek Piekara
who is known especially for his fantasy cicle about an inquisitor Mordimer, which takes place in
a reality where Jesus didn't die on the cross but has stepped down and has punished his opressors
and those who didn't believe in Him.
True this cicle is a bit controversial. But in our country almost everything is controversial...
anyway I don't ca-a-a-a-are...
In the middle >Angel's Blood< by Nalini Singh.
First from the 'Guild Hunter' series... another book that starts a series:
*** USA Today bestselling author Nalini Singh introduces a world of beauty and
bloodlust, where angels hold sway over vampires***
Now when I think about it, it's the first book where vampires and angels
starr together... that HAS to be interesting
I just pray this time it'll be better than 'Some girls Bite'.
And the last book is:
>The Stone Child< by Dan Poblocki
***From angry trolls, a missing author, and a curse as old as time, The Stone Child is a magical read filled with terrifying creatures and amazingly scary fun.I really enjoyed reading The Stone Child because, though it was scary enough to make your skin crawl, it has a good vs. evil plot and a creative "book within a book" style. This book is perfect for anyone who, like myself, enjoys horror stories that give you a good adrenaline rush, but doesn't keep you up at night...*** (an excerpt from a review)
Though the main character is 12 and I am 20+
...
well.. Halloween is coming soon...
and I've learned that sometimes.. hell... like 80% of children's stories is more spooky than the
adults' ones...
hmhmhmhm
yup
damn... meanwhile I've been talking to my aunt and I;m getting angry
so see ya...
