Ho' okipa

We went to Ho' okipa at The Loyal Hawaiian Waikiki. In Ho' okipa, I was busser, person who take out empty dishes for serving new dishes for guest. Before banquet start, I had to set the table I treated, for example I wiped glasses, forks, and knifes. After I set my table, we had small explain about banquet, and then Ho' okipa was started. Basically there are ten guest in each table, and four students treated them. When we serve or take out foods, we have opportunity to talk with guests. It was really exciting and encourage me to study hospitality at kcc. On the other hand, it was hard for me because every thing is new. There are some rule in banquet for example when I take out dish, I has to take out dish by right hand, right turn, and lady first. I have never heard those rule, so thought this banquet i could learn some rule and understand what is banquet and food service.
