There are various places, and there is no one best place. There is somewhere called sports shoe Street, which will have the latest stuff at quite reasonable prices compared to here, but compared to London I don know. I use my running shoes for running so I don demand the latest styles. However I found personally that sport shoe Street shops are tiny, often crowded, and I found it difficult to get some cheap air jordan retro 5 space to try anything on. Not only that but I got just as good bargains in large department stores like Sogo, or in malls with normal sport shoe shops. I guess it depends on the sales : ).
Hi, just to share my experience with you. I bought 3 pair of genuine running shoes, 2 Nike, 1 NB while I was there in Jan 2011. There are many shoes shops there so you will be spoilt for choice in terms of brands and price.
It cheap air jordan retro 4 will be good that you do some research on the type of sneakers you want eg for running, basketball etc. What is the brand or model, colour you like. If you already got a model in mind get the price in your country and compare it to the price in HK.
I am not sure though do they stock big sizes but sizes up to US 11, US 12 should be available.
shoe street is Fa Yuen Street in Mongkok where there are over 50 shops selling sport shoes on or around that particular street. All of them are selling authentic stuffs (in fact, it pretty safe to buy things in shops in HK in terms of the authentites). Some of them is the brands own shop (like the nike, timberland and convers while others are small chain own by the same owners on the same street.
