There were many ways to make money
without a job when I was younger.

On snowy mornings, I went to rich
neighborhoods and offered to
shovel the driveways.   I often
negotiated a high price. (Usually
about $30 for a 30-minute job)

During university, I held parties
at my home and charged five
dollars for entry. One night, I
made over $300!
(It was a Halloween party)

In Oklahoma, I lived next to a
football stadium. On the day
of a game, just before the game
started, I would stand in front of
my house with a sign
($20 parking): I could fit about
6 cars in front of my house.

Baby-sitting was an option too.
That’s how I got plane tickets
to Japan..... from baby-sitting!

My longest real job in America
was just a few months.

Free time is a wonderful luxury!
