According to CNN on March 13, a Los Angeles County Superior Court judge denied Darren Sharper bail after his legal team requested that he be released on house arrest.
The former NFL has been accused of drugging two women with Ambien and raping them in Los Angeles on Oct. 30, 2013, and Jan. 13, 2014.
Sharper, 38, was being held on $1 million bail. On Thursday, Judge Renee Korn removed the bail and ordered him to remain Wholesale NFL Jerseys in jail after this week's announcement that an Arizona grand jury has indicted him.
A grand jury in Tempe, Arizona, indicted Sharper on two counts of sexual assault and three counts of administering dangerous drugs relating to an incident alleged to have happened on Nov. 21, 2013 in Arizona. He is also being investigated by New Orleans police following allegations of sexual assault filed on Sept. 24, 2013.
Sharper has pleaded not guilty to all of the charges. His attorneys said he maintains any sex was consensual.
Sharper played in the NFL for fourteen years. He played for the Green Bay Packers, Minnesota Vikings and New Orleans Saints from 1997 through the 2010 Cheap Jerseys season. He was an NFL Network analyst. On Jan. 18, 2014, he was suspended immediately without pay in light of the sexual assault charges. On Feb. 28, 2014, he was officially fired from NFL Network.
