My daughter's school field day was held today.

Yesterday, she gave me a letter of invitation of the field day.

The invitation was written that she would do her best at the program of her short truck race, and that she wanted her family to come and to watch her 50-meter race.

My wife said to me, "She told me that she was always the slowest girl of her race group". "So I advised her how to run fast", she said.

Today, I went to her school with my wife, my mother, and my little daughter to see her race.

She raced with six students. She did her best to become fifth of six at her race! We said each other, “She really has done good job, hasn't she?”

It was hot autumn day.

I came home from my office at 22:00, and whispered to my wife, "I'm home".

My wife was sleeping.

I said again, "I'm home."

She was still sleeping.

"I'm home!! I’m hungry!"

"You're! I know!"

She said and slept again.

After all, my mother made for me a dinner.

When I finished having the salty dinner and got up to the second floor, she got up at last.

I said sarcastically to her "Good morning!”

She said to me "Good night", and began sleeping again.

Yesterday was her birthday. The lion sleeps tonight.

I made a spring phone with my two daughters and my mother at the science museum in the next-door city.

The director of the museum, who was my teacher of homeroom and physics at the high school, had told me that he was teaching children in their summer vacation to make some of scientific toys at the museum when we had a same class meeting for the first time in 20 years 1 week ago.

I felt nostalgia when I came into the room of the museum and saw the letters written by the teacher on the black board.

There were about 20 people in the room, and he energetically taught us how to make the phone.

The spring phone we made was a kind of echo machine, which was made of a paper cup, a spring, and an empty PET bottle.

I hear the echo sound when I speak to it.

My daughters seemed to enjoy making it and playing with it.

We had a good time.
