Backup Data From Windows to NAS

  • Log in to ReadyCLOUD client

Quick Tip: You need to enter your username and password into the given fields for a succesful ReadyNAS login.

  • Hit Sign In and wait till the client is getting connected to your NAS device.

  • Once done, click on the Backup PC Folder option.

  • You will be shown with a list of folders available on your Windows system.

  • Select the folder you want to back up data from and click OK.

  • A corrosponding folder will be created on your NAS device.

  • Let the software scan all the data from the selected folder on your Windows sustem and copy the same to the NAS folder.

  • Once completed, you will be notified that all the data is copied to the ReadyNAS folder.

  • Now, access readycloud.netgear and log in to access the NAS device remotely using ReadyCLOUD.
