2009 October Lonely Kicker
The New York Jets traded special teams player Jason Trusnik, wide receiver Chansi Stuckey and a pair of draft Josh Morgan Elite Jersey picks to the Cleveland Browns in exchange for wide receiver Braylon Edwards. The Jets may have gotten a receiver that can give quarterback Matt Sanchez a legitimate deep threat. Edwards has a lot of baggage he is bringing with him. The NFL is looking into whether he violated the league personal conduct policy. This is following accusations of whether he assaulted a friend of NBA star of Lebron James.
Former Texas Tech Wide Receiver Michael Crabtree has ended his out and signed with the San Francisco 49ers. Crabtree was the last hold out to sign with an NFL team from the 2009 NFL Draft. He signed a sixyear www.officialfootballredskins.com/15_josh_morgan_jersey_authentic_black_limited_cheap.html deal and he can get out of the contract after five if he meets performance requirements. Crabtree had refused a fiveyear deal worth 20 million. His contract is for six years and $32 million that could maximize to $40 million if he achieves every incentive in the deal. The guarantee in the contract is $17 million, but he is expected to make $19 million over the first three years and $23 million over the first four years. The fiveyear deal is worth $28 million. Some examples of incentives are if he makes the ProBowl in the first four years, and if the he plays 80 percent of the offensive snaps in a different season than this one when the 49ers make the playoffs.
