13 cuts trim roster to 76
Although NFL teams have until Tuesday afternoon to trim rosters from 90 players to 75, the Vikings made a significant step Monday evening, trimming their roster to 76 by releasing 13 players.
The team will have to make one more cut to make Tuesday.
They are quarterback Andrew Luck Jersey James Vandenberg; receivers LaMark Brown, Erik Highsmith and Chris Summers; www.shopcoltsnfljersey.com/WOMENS-ANDREW-LUCK-JERSEY.html guard Tyler Holmes; center Camden Wentz; defensive backs Greg McCoy and Roderick Williams; defensive ends Lawrence Jackson and Marquis Jackson; linebacker Stanford Keglar, and running backs Bradley Randle and Jerodis Williams.
Lawrence Jackson is probably the most notable player cut. A firstround draft choice by Seattle in 2008 out of Southern California, he played two years with the Seahawks and then the past three seasons with the Detroit Lions. He signed a freeagent contract with the Vikings in April.
With fullback Jerome Felton placed on the reserve/suspended by commissioner list, the Vikings are at 76 players.
