Despite some of the haters out there, the video says the idea has generated positive responses in the press and on social media, resulting in increased sales. Digital Trends pointed out the video about the latte selfies, followed by ABC and The Week.
Other types of companies are trying to capitalize on the selfie craze as well. Earlier this summer, Planetary Resources, a space mining venture, launched a Kickstarter campaign to let contributors take selfies from space.
