2019年にjyankenmarkというソフビデザイナーを知りました。その時、私はまだソフビの収集を始めていませんでした。2022年から収集を始め、これまでこのデザイナーが発表した一連のロボットたちを見てきました。どれも個性豊かで、最初は3Dプリンターで作られたのかと思っていましたが、友達が当選して実物を見た時、その大きさや美しさ、細部のディテールに驚きました。友達からそれが手彫りだと聞いた時は、少し信じがたい気持ちでした。jyankenmarkの作品は本当に唯一無二で、彼自身のスタイルがしっかりと感じられます。数年前には運良くjyankenmarkのブラックドラゴンを手に入れることができました。いつかjyankenmarkのすべての作品を手に入れられる日が来ることを願っています。
I discovered the sofubi designer Jyankenmark back in 2019.
At that time, I hadn’t started collecting sofubi yet.
It wasn’t until 2022 that I began my collecting journey.
Since then, I’ve watched this designer release a whole series of robot figures—each one with such unique characteristics.
At first, I thought they were made with 3D printing,
but when I saw a friend win a piece in person,
I was amazed by how big, beautiful, and detailed it was.
My friend told me it was hand-sculpted,
which was hard to believe at first.
Jyankenmark’s work is truly one of a kind,
with a style that’s unmistakably his own.
A few years ago, I was fortunate enough to receive one of Jyankenmark’s Hedora figures.
I hope that someday, I’ll be able to own every single one of his creations.
