クリスマス・イブですね、皆さまは何かされますか？
うちは🎅委託業が廃業ぽいので、とりあえずはパーティー風夕食を作って、食卓を囲めることに感謝しつつ、普通の日を過ごす予定です。
さてイブではありますが、クリスマスソングではなく、でも何となくこの時期に聴きたくなる、ちょっとゴージャスでハッピーなラブソング！
2013年リリースのMKTOの『Classic』です。

MKTO（エムケーティーオー）は、マルコム・ケリー（Malcolm Kelley、1992年5月12日 - ）とトニー・オーラー（Tony Oller、1991年2月25日 - ）からなるアメリカ出身のポップデュオ。
2010年ニコロデオンのTVシリーズ「Gigantic」の撮影中に出会った二人は、デュオを結成し二人のイニシャルを繋ぎMKTOという名前にした。
2012年にデビューシングルをリリース、オーストラリアとニュージーランドにて爆発的ヒットとなり商業的成功をおさめた。
マルコムはTVシリーズ「LOST」にて子役で出演しており、その父親役を演じたハロルド・ペリノーがミュージックビデオに出演した。
2013年6月に2枚目のシングル『Classic』をMVと共にリリース。ビルボード100で14位を記録、MVは早々に1億回以上再生回数となり、現在までに1.9億回再生となっている。
2014年にデビューアルバム、2015年にEPをリリースしている。
2017年より1年ほど解散していたが再結成し現在も活動中である。

てことで、皆大好きクラシックなのですが、タイトルは知らなくてもどこかで耳にしているのではないでしょうか？何というか、とても気分の上がる曲です。
歌詞の内容としては「君は唯一無二の輝きだ」という、好きな女の子へ賞賛でありラブソングかなと思います。
色んなスターの名前や曲名が出てくるのが、また楽しいんですよね✨
