I did もちつき (traditional Japanese pounding of rice) at my aunts house in Monterey Park.
I invited Sean and Kevin cause they never did it before. We were each supposed to make 5 pounds worth of mochi for our families but my mom bought the 10 pounds of rice by mistake. I knew from the night before when I was soaking it that the portion was a little big from last year but I never checked the bag. I think we made over a 100 mochi all together. Most of my relatives made plain or red bean filled mochi. For the past two years I made peanut butter mochi and my relatives thinks it's weird. It actually tastes good. We started at 9am and ended around 1:30pm. When we got home, we all divided up the mochi. Fun memories.

[School's Done]

Yes! The semester is done!
It wasn't what I had hope to be...
I started with four classes and ended with two. I thought I could handle it but I underestimated it. I really need to get out of school. Next semester will be different I hope. *sigh*
I'm really hoping to transfer to UCI soon..

[Unofficial Classes]
I'm trying to figure out which classes to take. I don't see the counselor until Dec. 16 so until then I'll go with the criteria of UCI Biology major.

I must take..
Chemistry 4 → Chemistry 1A,1B,1C as well as Biology 101 & 102
Math 170 → Math 180 → Math 190&191
Physics 1A, 1B, 1C

[Money Issues]
Now that I have a job and not spending my money recklessly anymore, I have my money issues under control. I'm eating at home or not eating at all to save money. I'm also wearing clothes from a couple years ago instead of buying new clothes. Once I get my paycheck I immediately pay my bills so I don't have to worry about late payment.

[Beauty School]

I'm back at beauty school again. I'll try to attend everyday and graduate. Once I receive my ethetician license, I'll be able to work at a spa and make money.
