さて、一行はそれぞれ馬車を連ねて陽気にパーティー会場に向かっています。
ローリーもジャドと馬車で会場に向かっていますが、浮かぬ顔。
ジャドはわざと馬をユックリと走らせて皆から遅れ、機会到来とばかりにローリーを口説きます。
たまりかねたローリーは馬に鞭をくれ、その途端馬車はあらぬ方向に暴走し始めます。
ようやく馬車が止まると、ローリーは隙を見てジャドを馬車から押し出し、一人会場に向かって行きます。
一方パーティ会場ではスクエア・ダンスが始まっています。
ところが、日頃仲の悪い農民と牧童たちの喧嘩が起こり、だんだん収拾がつかなくなります。

たまりかねたエラー叔母が対立する農民と牧童のグループの間に割って入り、拳銃をぶっ放して両者を鎮めます。

The cowman ropes a cow with ease,
the farmer steals her butter and cheese,
