MUSKEGON, Mich. (AP) A 34-year-old West Michigan prison offender was found unresponsive and later died after twice attempting to escape from his cell.
Deputies at the Muskegon County Jail positioned Dahnontae McKinley in a "restraint chair" Saturday afternoon after pepper spray didn't deter him, Sheriff Dean Roesler mentioned Monday in a

Pepper spray was applied to McKinley, but had no influence. He in the course of time was subdued and put into a chair alone in the cell.
Katrina McKinley informed WOOD-TV that her husband was healthy.
"I had just written to him your day before," she said. "He sounded just fine. He was willing to come home. I recently wish to know what happened."
Jail movie has been turned over to the Michigan State Police, that is analyzing McKinley's demise, Roesler said.
