L wants ???

In America, children write letters to Santa. Usually、there are four or five items on the list.
"Santa" chooses presents from this list. And they appear under the tree on Chrsitmas eve.
Their is a label," To Jon, from Santa".
R asked me if this was the last year he would get a present from Santa. I asked him if he wanted to do Japanese style or American style. In America, family members give and get presents until they die.
I understand that in Japan presents stop after elementary school, orjunior high school, or high school.
Hopefully, Santa will deliver this year.
