Hello!
I made my full marathon debut.
My first trial was Tsukuba marathon of 42.195km.
Tsukuba marathon is known as the one of the easiest race because of its flat course.
The result was! I completed the full distance within 5 hours.
The weather was almost cloudy and the temperature was less than 10 degrees even at noon.
However a cold weather is good for a runnner.
I could run 30km with a comfortable feeling during the first 3 hours.
But after passing 30km, my legs became painful.
"Oh! this might be a beginner's mistake. Was my pace too much fast?",
I thought.
Actually, I used to run 10km in 1 hour when training.
I mean, I've never run 30km in 3 hours.
Then I gave legs a massage, had a kind of amino-acid-drink and slowed the pace down.
Run and walk, and walk and run. But the pain made me mood-elevating. The goal was right in front of me.
As soon as I crossed the goal line, my legs became like a stone and I was not able to even walk normally.
But what a feeling of it! I sensed accomplishments, fulfillments and superiority.
I came to want to break the 4 hours barrier next time!
