I have finished the 9th Season of Suits and started to watch Suits (Korean), and I am on my 7th episode.. and guess what?.I was surprised that there is Suits Japan.

I never expected that the Japanese will adapt the tv series from the US especially the nature of the drama is about corporate America which is not similar to Japanese values.

Here are my takes.I mean no offense to the reader. It is more of an interesting topic as there are a lot of differences. Here is my first part of the review.

Note that I haven't finished the series yet. However, I saw a lot of differences compare to the US and Korean rendition.

1. In the first episode, the Korean follow the same plot of a hostile take over of a company and requires Harvey Specter, who was currently playing poker, to close the deal. For the Japanese version, it is totally different mainly because it is not common practice in Japanese business. Instead, they focus on defamation.

2. The promotion to becoming a senior partner is totally way different in the Japanese rendition.I really felt I am watching a different series here which is good as it shows the different cultures in each country.

3. I am a fan of Louis Litt and the Japanese and Korean versions failed or maybe didn't fully develop or understand the character.I have read some reviews that he is power hunger but that is not all.I want you guys to see the version of Louis Litt. Probably it is because of the limitation of the episode. In the US, people invest in character development.

For the meantime, I need to check the other episodes but this is my first impression about Suits 2018 (Japan rendition)
