Project “Let’s make my Sumatra-trip more creative!”
Preface
I have to answer multiple-question on the blog as the mid-term assignment. In addition, not only quality of answer but also creativity of the blog will be evaluated even though I never have blog. So I am wondering how I deal with this situation.
Simultaneously, I am thinking of traveling somewhere recently because I have not traveled since last visit to Jogjakarta. Last month, I only spent 3 million Rupiah as living expenses. So this situation stimulated me to go out for trip. “I like nature so how about the national park in Sumatra island?” Like that.
And then, I came up with the idea that these 2 opportunity can be combined. That’s why I launched the project that makes my blog more creative by asking my friends to give an idea on the blog, using SCAMPRE method, for not only finishing my midterm, but also making my travel more creative.
To be honest, I am worried if this project is appropriate for my assignment or not. Anyway, I try to do my best

There are many definitions about creativity and innovation, which makes you sometime confused. Simplifying these, it could be
・creativity; the process in which some ideas are generated in your brain
・innovation; the process in which some ideas in your brain are transferred into reality.
If I am not mistaken, Sumatra-trip can be applied to
・Creativity; thinking about what we can do in the place and creative things.
・Innovation; implement the ideas in following month
2. Method
・Generating ideas by using SCAMPRE
・What I want you to do is coming up with idea and writing them down.
3. What is SCAMPRE?
Ø Substitute: thinking about replacing
*Can I change its color, sound, smell, material or name?
Can I use this idea in a different place?
*For example, thinking about trash can, the material can be changed from plastic to cardboard.
Ø Combine: combining unrelated ideas to create something new.
*Where can I build synergy?
*For example, thinking about cup, you can combine it into electric. You can warm your something to drink every time you want
Ø Adapt
*Use it in different context
*For example, in the context of Adapt, it can adapt combo sets with bundle pricing to attract more people.
Ø Modify; make it smaller and bigger
*Can I modify size, amount, shape and value?
Ø Put other Purpose; thinking about different to use the product, service.
*How would children, old people and people with disabilities use it?
Ø Eliminate; cut unnecessary thing
*How can I simplify it? What if I made it smaller? Should I split into different parts?
Ø Rearrange/Reverse; replace in reverse order
