After giving a bow in front of the TORII, and proceed to the approach (SANDOU)参道さんどう

 

②    How to wash your hands in the TEMIZUYA手水舎てみずや

Hold in a right hand a HISYAKU柄杓ひしゃく, and scoop lots of water (All of the water, you use )

Pour a little (1/4) water on your left hand.

Next, change your hands, hold in a left hand the HISYAKU, and pour a little (1/4) water on your right hand.

Then, change your hands, hold in a right hand the HISYAKU, and pour a little(1/4) water on your left hand and wash your mouth.

Finally, wash the HISYAKU

 

③    How to worship a shrine

Insert coins (OSAISENお賽銭おさいせん) to the SAISENBAKO賽銭箱さいせんばこ(Box)

Ring the bell(SUZU鈴すず)

 

Give 2 bow and crap your hands twice, after that give 1 bow.

 

④    Get a GOSYUIN御朱印ごしゅいんor be conferred a OMAMORIお守りおまもり(charm)
